Load Bearing Structure

BUILDING as the art of architecture should consider conceptual systems of order - scale proportion and organization of building's interior space , the building as an integrated component within the natural and buil environment .

STRUCTURE refers to anything that is buil from different interrelated parts or refers to any body of connected parts that is designed to bear loads . Structural elements can be classified according to their geometry rigidity and how they respond to forces applied to them . Two basic structural elements are column and beam .

Learning from the module :-

We learn about the history of houses from different ways how we ended to a RCC frame structure houses. We also learn about the different forces how they act on a particular structure , how the forces distributes . We even learn about different types of material used , different foundation for types of houses .
